  • About Rolling Plains Management Corporation

    The Rolling Plains Management Corporation (RPMC) Energy Assistance Program has the purpose of helping low-income individuals and vulnerable families with their utility payment. It will also provide individuals with education on how to control their energy costs. The Energy Assistance Program is funded through federal and local sources. Qualification is based on income eligibility and the availability of funds. Individuals must fill out an application and provide all the supporting documentation. 

    Please note that there will be a delay in the qualification process if the application is incomplete or there is missing documentation. 


    Requirements:

    • Four current check stubs (if paid weekly)
    • Two current check stubs (if paid twice a month)
    • One current check stub (if paid monthly)
    • Social Security award letter for the current year
    • Retirement income letter for the current year
    • VA award letter for the current year
    • TANF printout (previous 30 days)
    • Documentation of any other income received in your household for the past thirty days
    • All pages (front and back) of your current utility bills – electricity, gas, and/or propane
    • Proof of citizenship or qualified alien status of all household members
    • Signed Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) System Certification form
    • Landlord Agreement completed and returned

    The Low Income Home Energy Assistance program is called LIHEAP. They assist low income people and families with their heating and cooling bills. This program is therefore, a year long program that is available 12 months a year. To qualify for the LIHEAP assistance, you need to qualify. We provide the current Federal Poverty Rates nationwide below.

    You are automatically qualified for LIHEAP assistance if you participate in the SNAP food stamps program, TANF Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, or the SSI program through Social Security.

    *Alaska and Hawaii have different rates for HUD federal poverty guidelines.
    These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get legal aid from some offices, they use a sliding fee scale. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
